DRIFFIELD BRANCH CONSERVATIVES
The last Driffield Branch functions of 2007 were a Treasure Hunt on Saturday 22nd September, starting at 4pm from Garton Church. This was very well attended. The Christmas event was a popular Coffee Morning once again held at the lovely home of Mrs Maura Lee, on 13th December.
Functions for 2008 include a Coffee Morning postponed from Thursday 17th April - date to be agreed, and a Safari Gardens Afternoon Tea to be held on 29th June.
If you have any queries or want to be added to our "invitee list" you can also call Squadron Leader Martin Temple or Councillor Felicity Temple on 01377 240179. You do not have to be a member of the Conservative Party to attend most functions (only the Annual Dinner), so please don't hesitate to contact us if you are at all interested.
EYCCA Events
The next Constituency Event will be a Race Night on Saturday 10th May, held at the Community Centre, Westgarth, Driffield. Tickets for this are available from all Branch Chairman or direct from Martin Temple and Cllr Symon Fraser.
Following that we are pleased to announce another Ticket Only event, to be held at the lovely home of David & Liz Taylor - Highfield. This former Country Club is a fabulous setting and we have been graciously allowed to hold a Summer Garden Party in the grounds (and the house should the weather be inclement). The date for this prestigious event is 19th July. For details please contact Martin Temple on 01377 240179.
There will be an Annual Dinner, details yet to be decided (see separate webpage). If you wish to join the Conservative Party and thus be considered for a ticket for the Annual Dinner in 2007 please contact Teresa Sothcott, secretary to the Rt Hon Greg Knight MP, on 0845 0900 203 or Cllr Felicity Temple, Chairman of the EYCCA on 01377 240179.
