New extension to Driffield Business Centre
Driffield Business Centre recently held an Open Day to encourage more Driffield people to develop their entrepreneurial skills and also publicise the much awaited extension to the Centre. Dave Tunstall, Business Advisor, told me there was only one small unit available at the moment and that six or seven interested people had come into the Centre on the day and a further four people phoned for an appointment.
The Business Advisory service is an initiative from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and is available at no extra cost to those renting units, along with photocopying and basic support staff, kitchen and other facilities. The centre is run on a non-profit making basis. Funding for the new extension has been sought from Yorkshire Forward.
The new extension will have more workshops as well as the popular office units, and will further add to help given to Driffield by East Riding of Yorkshire Council by incorporating a training section as well.
