Co-operation rules! Cycle Track already in progress ...

Work has started on the construction of the new cycle track to Kelleythorpe Industrial Estate.
The new track will improve safety for cyclists and enable Driffield people to access their workplaces at the estate much more easily and safely than at present.
The work done using funding from the "Local Transport Plan" results from efforts of local people working with the Forward Planning Department and the Highways Department to get a scheme implemented to enhance the provision of sustainable transport for Driffield.
Councillors Symon Fraser and Felicity Temple of Driffield, who have been constant supporters of the track said, " We are delighted to see this scheme come to fruition as soon as this, it just shows what can be achieved when the community works with the Council in complete harmony on a proposal."
