Council Tax 2002/3
At a recent Budget Seminar for Members of the Council, Officers explained the background to and planning for the Council Budget for 2002/3. When the Director of Finance said that planning was along the lines of a 'stand still' budget, Cllr Mrs McClure (Cottingham South) interrupted to say that a 'stand still' budget was "unrealistic".
As Cllr Mrs McClure is Deputy Leader of the Liberal Group on the Council, could it be that they are, yet again, planning to propose another massive increase in Council Tax next year?
