Which option for the Skateboard/BMX Park Site?

At the AGM of the Driffield & Rural Sk8/BMX Committee to be held on Monday 17th December, residents of Driffield have an opportunity to view the early plans for the proposed skate/BMX park. As yet no decision has been made as to the site, but several options are open for discussion. Listed below are the various sites presently identified, which one do you think is best?

Option 1
North End Park. This site would be suited to a SK8/BMX facility but it would only ever be a small facility with limited access and no parking nearby. It would be difficult to protect it from vandalism and misuse and would not offer a facility within easy reach of other sporting, changing and refreshment services.

Option 2
Allotment Lane Playing Fields. Another possible site for a SK8/BMX park but this site is remote from both housing and facilities, again this would be a second best for Driffield BMX/Sk8ers.

Option 3
Fully integrated site at the Sports Centre. A really ambitious plan to put Driffield on the SK8ing map. Sited here a facility could benefit from the other sporting and recreational services of the sports centre. Parents could drop Sk8ers off whilst they attended other sports events or even night classes. The park could be lit and used over a much wider range of times. It could be supervised and maintained as a part of the whole sporting complex of Driffield. SK8/BMXers would have the additional benefit of adequate parking and an easily located site which would draw new enthusiasts to Driffield.

Which option would you support for the BMX/Sk8ers of Driffield?
